Call For Submissions—7 Days

7 days blankArtboard 5-100.jpg

What’s your week looking like? We want to know! Tell us by submitting to the expanded edition of our 2017 title 7 Days.

A collection of entries that pull back the curtain to reveal hardships, vulnerabilities and the banality of life in the arts. Each chapter presents a personal account of the contributor’s intimacy with art—and the disillusionment, poignancy, and success that comes with it during a week. Contributors include Peter Frank, Martha Rosler, Doug Harvey, Jonathon Keats, Nancy Lippe, Cristin McKnight Sethi, ORLAN, David Raymond, Tracy Snelling, and Mary Valverde, among others.

“Whom is this book for? Who is its audience? It is for anyone and everyone in art who is curious enough to want to see how their fellow travelers see the world, the world they inhabit or want to inhabit. It is also for anyone interested in art and the art world and who would like to expand their understanding of that world through eyes of others.” —editor, Holly Crawford

Submissions can be sent by email to hazell@acinstitute.org. Please note that the book will be printed in black & white. Submission deadline is October 1st.
